Human beings are the only creatures who can consume everything to their nature. Both excess or deficit of anything is bad. Eating or sleeping more or less than requirement is injurious to health but the middle course is the best. Both excessive eating as well as talking are harmful. Take food slowly. Don’t look around while eating. He gets the proper taste of food who eats slowly. Leave envy and eat with your hearts content whatever you get. Good manners bring happiness and less eating is good for health. Less eating gives more strength and excessive eating is injurious to health. Eat less if you want to eat for a long time and eat more if you want to eat for a short time. Eat less at present if you want eat more in future and more at present if you want to eat less in future. Eat as much as you can digest. Good foods fill one’s belly and good books satisfy one’s heart. The roughest parts of food of human being come out as wastage, medium part nourishes his physique and the finest part nourishes his mind. Limited eating increases strength. A mind wants food. If your body is nourished with food and drink, your mind will also be cheerful. Grow your health with nutritious foods, then you will be mentally strong. A man's mentality is grown according to his food. His language is formed according to the water he drinks. Physical power and properties of sperm depend on food, so we should take nutritious food, meat, milk, egg, honey and vegetables. While eating, feel one third of your stomach with food, one third with water and keep the rest vacant. Take limited food and drink unlimited water. Cells of the living beings are alive. They get nutrition from our eaten foods. Weight of a body depends on food, nutrition, structure of the body and diseases etc. A life remains living on food and its digestion. When we take food and love somebody, we are pleased and as a result, our blood is purified and our mentality and sense organs becomes lively. It is necessary to make a light environment while eating. When you feel no appetite, take a little variety of foods. Physical nourishment keeps us alive. Four kinds of foods required for nourishment of our bodies and minds, those are, food, touch, recreations and practice of acquiring knowledge. We take food to keep our lives normal and comfortable. Physical strength and soundness develop mental strength and soundness. Mental peace depends on physical soundness. And physical soundness depends on non-defective strenth. Foods and drinks removes hunger, thirst, dissatisfaction, sense of enmity, anger mental worries, bodyache, fatigue, quarrelsome attitude, weakness, ill mental tendency and laziness. Food gives us nutrition, satisfaction and removes huger. Want of food makes a man mentally inactive and loses his wisdom. You will remain satisfied and contented if you take limited food, live in a solitary place, remain calm, friendly, kind and tolerant. A good food sharpness and softens ones intellect. Food smoothens the way of business. He who does not care for his own belly, does not care for anything. Eating meat will continue till the warriors will dominate the world. But when with the scientific development, wars will come down, then the vegetarians will be stronger. If you visit a country and take your own food there, it is as if you have crossed only the half way to that country. It is more pleasing for a man to find out a new process of cooking than to discover a new star. Cooking well is a high class art. An expert cook is no less important than an artist, a dancer or a singer. Human being is the only creature who takes food after cooking it. We may lead our lives without friends or books but we can’t do without a cook. Would the Bengalese utilized their time, energy and merit for warfare, as they have spent it for preparing different kinds of food with rice and for discovering different cooking methods, they would have won the world. A good cook firstly takes the taste of the food he prepares. A cook in the kitchen is more responsible than a physician. If somebody cooks well, other praise it even after a long time. A cook can be recognized by his art of cutting vegetables. Most of the gents chew betel-nut and takes rice cooked overnight. Most of the bangalees prefer rice cooked overnight than that which is freshly cooked. The more a fish is washed before cooking the more it becomes tasteful but the more meat is washed, the more it lose its taste. You can eat with hearts content if you have a good relation with a cook. Take nutritious food and talk in a low voice. Grow your body strong, then only it will obey the orders of the mind. Hunger is not only the best cook, but also the best physician. A hungry stomach does not have an ear. When you are hungry, don't feel shy to tell it. If your belly is fulfilled, you can work hard. If your belly is fulfilled you can say prayers properly. When one’s belly is fulfilled his determinations become weaker, then an intelligent man also does not dare to do something. Take food to satisfy your hunger, don't eat so much that your further appetite is lost. Only appetite can make a food fully tasty. A good food creates hunger. Hunger is the best sense, it makes an ordinary food into the most tasteful one. Take food with satisfaction, no matter the food is an ordinary one, and put on such dress which satisfies others' eyes. Keep your mind lively by eating less and purify your heart after digesting it. In this way, your heart will light and capable of working efficiently. Chewing food makes our teeth strong and at the same time, we get the full taste of the food. Where there is abundance of fat there is scarcity of  marrow. Eat whatever you like, put on whatever you choose but don't be extravagant and proud. But eating everything and all the time is nothing but extravagancy. Mental pleasure is the source of physical strength. A weak body make a mind weak. Great thoughts come out of the belly. Utilize your brain in good deeds and take food like an intelligent man. A goat can eat anything and a mad can say anything. A frustrated man does not have any hope for the future. A food monger does not understand anything other than eating. We eat to live, not live to eat. Eat to live but don’t live to eat. Taking good food is not a evil act and again starving is also not a great deed. We should not follow unnecessary restrictions about taking foods and drinks. Too much talking makes man talkative and too much eating enlarges his belly. Take limited food. Drink slowly. Play at leisure. Practice physical exercise daily and keep it under limitation. Don't spend your time by reading books only but also participate in games regularly. A young man should be honest, courteous and sincere. Not only in games, but we should have a struggling tendency in all matters of our lives. The affect of Olympic games will be long lasting. Democracy in the international relations will grow from the playground of the Olympic games. When somebody having education, intelligence and a high moral conscience, makes himself physically active, spirited and firm by physical exercise, he becomes an assent for himself as well as for a state. Physical fitness, moral consciousness, sound health, energy and intelligence are important for a man.  A healthy, capable and honest man is the first and foremost requirement for all activities.
