Heat is
required to clean gold, likewise bad habits are to be cleaned by deep
meditation. A man’s sense of feelings is enriched by meditation. We should not
take our whimsical desires as a success, disbelief as a credit and ignorance as
knowledge. We should not be cruel to the people and should not distrust them.
He will be rewarded who guides a man toward right path. Neither too much
liberalism excessive punishment nor repeated advices are good. He who does not
help himself and advises himself does not get anybody to help or advise him. We
only understand the advices with instances. We should not neglect an advice.
Listen to him who invites towards firm belief instead of confusion towards
sacrifice instead of greed, towards greatness instead of egoism, towards
amiability instead of pride and towards giving advise instead of enmity.
Intelligent people deserve a good advice. It is useless to advise an
illiterate. A piece of soil cannot reflect like sunshine as a piece of crystal.
A good advice is invaluable and is like all the gems of all the seas. A good sense is required to be
benefited by a good advice. To follow a good advice is to increase ones
efficiency. An advice cannot be evaluated by a financial scale. Take advice of
an wise experience when you are in danger. First do yourself and then advises
others to do the same. He who accepts advices of all makes a weak house. One
should not give such advice which is unwanted. It is easy to advise but
difficult to show solution. Many people get advices but wise men follow it and
become benefited by the same. Don’t advise a man infront of a crowd. Thinkers
can advise but cannot work. While advising a friend you should try to help him
instead of pleasing him. Advice in short words. The more you will say, the less
other will remember. So the less you will say the more it will be effective.
When you will give some advise on a matter of policy see that it is in given in
short. But don’t make it so short that it becomes hard to understand. When
somebody comes to you for an advice in fact he wants that you should praise
him. Don’t advise anybody to marry or to go to warfield. Those who follow a
wise man’s advise and carry out their duties patiently get the expected result.
You should not talk, watch, with other when you are alone. You should not
discuss about your own faults with other, as it will hinder your further
actions. Sickness mental inactiveness confusion lack of zeal and laziness are
the obstacles for flourishment of a mind. Evil acts of an illiterate bring
disaster for him. Don't make other responsible for your own faults. To refrain
from killing living beings feeling enmity hatred and thinning for harming
others is the policy of non violence. In this way somebody kills another and
loses his hard earned money and fame. Everybody gets the result of his deeds.
Ignorance, greed, anger, confinement, salvation, disorder, jealousy, envy,
illusion, deceit, stagnation, vehemence, pride, conceit, intoxication,
carelessness etc. are causes of ones mental agonies. Most of the bad habits
grow due to addiction. Greed sexual desire anger laziness carelessness etc
misguides a man to attain peace. A man is himself responsible for all his
distress. Anger envy and addiction are three faults. Symptoms of attachment are
desire, envy, covetousness, thirst, greed, illusion, arrogance. Envy is
opposing other's opinion. Symptoms of malice- anger, jealousy, envy, hostility,
indignation, haughtiness. Jealousy is nothing but bearing malice against
others' virtue. Delusion symptoms of mind- disorder, doubt, contention, pride,
error, fear, grief. There is no fire more dangerous than anger no
disqualification like envy no net more dangerous than illusion and no river
larger than greed. Hunger, thirst, mourns, illusion, invalidity and death are
the characteristics of human being. Anger greed envy are the enemy of a man.
Lust, anger, greed, desires and addiction are the beastly characteristics of a
man. Greed, sex, desires, envy are the characteristics of common people. Envy
hatred anger inclination illusion desire for enjoyment etc misguide a man, so a
man should always keep himself busy in creative works. A man should not be
disturbed when he is in angry mood. Because it may create massacre. He who
suffers from anxieties behaves in an unbalanced way, so everybody avoids him.
Avoid behaving like a foolish, many mischief are created when people do not
understand the real cause of anything. When the nature makes a man mentally
injured nature itself recovers it by giving the coat of consolation. Don’t be
angry cruel lack of commonsense and an oppressor. Faces of these people are
ugly behaviour unpolished as such they are disliked and hated by others. Get
rid of affliction, greed, malice, delusion of mind, pride, seeing, doubt,
sloth, haughtiness, shamelessness, cruelty. Avoid lying anger and harassing
others. If you avoid hypocrisy, you will be praised by all. Refrain from lying,
backbiting loose talking, using harsh language and disobeying the religious
orders and instructions. A backbiters and his listener are both offenders.
Avoid egoism illiteracy envy, bluffing enmity and breaking promise. Protect
your hands from touching bad things, your feet from going to bad places your
eyes from seeing bad things your ears from listening to bad words and mouth
from eating bad things. When you are physically comfortable your bad habits are
awakened, so sometimes keeps yourself hungry and thus control your greed sexual
desires and beastly characteristics. Friendship is harmed due to frequent
meeting long absence and asking for something untimely. To protest friendship
avoid meeting frequently avoid companionship for long and ask for something in
due time. As a horse and a ass produce a donkey likely when a man is a gambler
and a thief at the same time is a swindler. Teasing pollutes a teasers
character and thus he loses his friends. Flattering begets destruction. He who
does not pay respect to anybody but wants it from all is never a good man. A
traitor bring bad name for a nation. In a run state drive away its nation.
Where egoism ends honours starts from there. Don’t praise yourself and keep on
criticizing others. It is not right to criticize anybody unnecessarily.
Distress is the result of a bad deed. Which is also a result of opposing the
truth. Both criticizing others and listening to it are bad. A mental injury due
to loss of prestige is more serious than a physical pain. Some people get
delight in showing mercy, envying, criticizing and defaming others. Nothing is
so mean act like criticising and defaming others. They enjoy it like licking
pickle. When a man is amiable somebody will take it as flattering. Again when
he is harsh thy will take it as his egoism. Many men many minds. Narrow
mindedness is the root of all disunities. Still two persons unites very quickly
while criticizing other. Because at that time both of them are out of the
topic. Better stand beside a rose plant than to criticize others. To donate in
hardship, to keep honesty in frightening situation, keeping meditation in
isolation is hard activity. Do not look for other fault, do not be guest
without any invitation and not be dependent to others, then you can be
honourable. Now-a-days all are fond of luxury, carping, critical minded,
dependent to other and humanity less. To make advice is easy but hard to
implement or application. Negative behaviour has broken out as fatal to the
society. There the people have been suffering with inferiority. The
discrimination, poverty, corruption, cheat and devastation are created in the
negative community. They are ready to adjust with any situation for the
interest. The irresponsible person is very much interested for personal profit.
Which community giveup the principality for convenience, that community losses
everything. At present, not only the honest persons, the cheaters are also
frustrating, because they are facing big cheaters than them. All are defeated
to the race, nobody can’t won. A man is to lose and sacrifice many things due
to his dishonest and negative characters. Avoid negative attitudes even if it
is little because this attitude will grow up day by day. Bad people make hells
for themselves. Money is the root of all evils. The evils are money, theft,
oppression, lying, egoism, sexual crime, violence, disparity, enmity, distrust,
offensiveness, addiction, conflict with relatives and friends and nearest and
dearest ones also become enemies. As a small ugly spot spoils the beauty of a
face likely a slight greed also spoils a man’s good reputation and his
character. A king loses his character by listening to bad counsels, a saint by
bad companions, a son by too much affection, a saint by avoiding studies, a
family by a bad son, a character by bad companions, sense of decency by
drinking wine, agriculture by inattentiveness, love by living apart for
long, friendship due to lack of love,
progress due to lack of a good policy and
wealth by extravagancy.
Talkativeness hypocrisy and egoism destroy a man’s personality. Although sexual
intercourse is a source of enjoyment and anger is a characteristic of man still
both of them are to be avoided. Using harsh language giving excessive
punishment harming livelihood and misusing money are to be avoided. Depriving a
man of his remuneration grasping others property with the help of one’s power
misappropriating others money and making distress is harmful to money and
livelihood. Avoid all kind of negative motives with the help of advices of the
wise man and controlling your sense organs. Don’t kill, don’t commit sexual
crime, don’t steal, don’t give false evidence against your neighbours, don’t
look greedily at the house of your neighbours, and don’t be greedy for the
wives sarvants and wealth of your neighbours. Avoid giving false evidence,
criticizing other, teasing others, blaming others, falsely being envious to
others, drinking wine and committing sexual offence. Pride of personal status,
family status, physical strength, wealth, fame and prestige, education and
intelligence lead a man towards immoral activities. Control yourself avoid
boasting of your wealth and try to be acceptable to all. Misery lowers a man’s
dignity. Politeness with a mean fellow brings danger. Five things are too
painful those are too much members of family, scarcity of a daily necessities,
a bad neighbour, a wife with a bad character and harsh language. A man’s
character is spoiled by the habit of bluffing his friends by malpractice of the
religious leaders by inferiority complex by pride and by becoming a slave of
habits. Five things are too bad those are malpractice of a religious leader,
greed of an administrator, sexual crime of an old man, misery of rich man and
shame lessness of a women. Don’t slaughter an animal which is active and gives
milk. When the amount of interest exceeds the principal amount it becomes a
great burdens for the debtor. Keep yourself away from illiterate friends.
Illiterate people thinks about a good or bad moment. Both an illiterate and an
enemy are to be avoided. Utterance of an ignorant person brings disaster for
him his lips tie up his neck. Always avoid the company of illiterate people
otherwise they will make you an illiterate as well. Don’t make friendship with
an illiterate, avoid company of a liar and don’t mix with a miser. Those who are illiterate are
not only ignorant but those who don’t want to know and understand anything
those who don’t know how to ask a question and those who don’t have a thirst
for knowledge are also ignorant. Don’t observe religious formalities as you
like. Be grateful to Allah for His gifts for you.
