Sense of humanity is not an inherent quality of a man.
Society plays a great role to flourish the physical and mental qualities of
men. Man is naturally social. Man can change him through the social process
only. A man has been compelled to be social due to outward influence rather
than inward influence. As the outward situation controls a man's conduct, this
situation is to be made humanly. So, everybody is to be given equal chance to
avail the social facilities. A person's individual personality is also the
result of a particular stage of the society. Even his religious belief and
social conduct are also the product of the society. Social life is generally
practical. The aim of human life is to flourish personality through active
communication with the other members of the society. One's own interest is to
be co-ordinated with greater social and national interest. Discipline of the
world is related to the collection status of mankind. Man is influenced by the
contemporary education, culture and heritage. The policy of self-interest is
the foundation of social life. There is a history of evolution of human power.
A group of creatures without power of speaking have made some rules in the
earth exchanging some vocal sounds and through mental communications. In this
way men earned their means of livelihood by continuous efforts through physical
and mental communication with the outward nature. This wonderful civilization
is the fruit of the silent efforts of uncounted people. The source of history,
experience and the way of progress of the whole mankind is the same. In every
age, there were a separate culture and a particular way of life which is
exclusively the own pattern of life of the people of that age. Even way of life
within a community or a family may vary from time to time. Modern civilization
has accepted all the valuable things from the ancient civilization, which can
never be neglected. The aryans and the semitic communities at first promoted
themselves to civilized from barbarian form. The tribes conducted their lives
on the way as described in communism. By a powerful and independent
constitution, right of the members of the tribes, their facilities and
responsibilities were decided and the personal and inter-personal rights were
well preserved. Chiefs of the tribes were selected proportionately with the
number of the members of the tribes, one for in every fifty. The basic
principles of the tribe were independence, equality and brotherhood. The
tribes, communities and alliances at a later stage ensured those existence. The
basic principle of military organizations derives from tribal relations.
Because its management was always exactly as it should be. People have to think
for migration due to excessive population. The requisites of livelihood were
produced in abundance but men had to struggle hard for it. How many people will
live in a locality was decided upon the availability of the requisites of
livelihood in that area. Otherwise it is not possible to attend and control the
increasing population. The progress and existence of a tribe depended on
intelligence, courage, wisdom and farsightedness of the members of the tribe.
The right of taking decisions was bestowed upon a council or a military
democracy, that is upon an unilateral government. On the most important and
common interests the people, military commanders and the advisors took
decisions. Everybody's interest was maintained in the common matters. Every man
and woman used to conduct his life according to own style. Nobody envied each
other, nobody harmed each others, even the houses were common. They had no
headache about decency and right or wrong. Nobody even used to feel that he has
any right over somebody else. In this way, gradually people acquired the
techniques of self-administration. Family or lineage mean the total population
of several villagers inherited from the same heredity, who are having the same
language and customs, who are bound to follow the same regulations and to take
the same legal remedies when needed and to work united during attacks and
defensive operations. A family or a community becomes standstill without mutual
co-operation. Good neighbourship is spoiled due to lack of mutual respect and
cooperation. All the members of a tribe are independent. All of them enjoyed
equal rights and privileges. The tribe was the source of their social,
constitutional and religions activities. This conception of self-administration
can flourish and express the average intelligence and qualities of an
independent and well-educated community. Common people of any age is quite
efficient and intelligent about social progress and welfare. A civilized
society is based on morality and mutual respect, in absence of these political
and economic infrastructures are destroyed. A nation is to pay a lot to become
a modern as well as a civilized nation. In this regard the question of
physical, financial, oral and military factors cannot be avoided in any way.
Mainly by a military way of thinking, it is possible to unite a group of people strongly under a community, driving
away their individual differences. The relation system was based on a few
conceptions. And remain effective by some customs, not by any legal
interference. The roots of changes at every stage are the emergence of some
special organizations which deeply influenced on the structure of the society.
Each individual is the central of a row of relations. Two kinds of relation
were created from a family blood relations and relation through marriage. All
of them learned to treat the persons of the same age as relative, the previous
generation as father and mothers and the next generation as sons and daughters
etc. A tribe was the primary unit of social system. To make it as an organization
some intellectual practice was required. Beginning of a peaceful life is
possible through world-brotherhood. Where many people are to survive, there
individual is to conduct himself according to his own limitation. The restraint
of magnitude among all forms or limit of the world is best. Self-control is the
nicest, welfare is ascetic. Ownership of land should be determined according to
the population. Everybody should have equal right on rivers, streets, bars and
community centers. Due to man-made disparities based on difference of mentality
and physique, people disunited themselves into communities. Fights between
communities could only be suppressed by spread of education. A society cannot
make progress in a state of permanent terrorism. In this state, it becomes
impossible for them to win the competition with the outsides. The society which
is always engaged in its self-defense, cannot move freely. Every society is to
proceed forward, keeping the society stable and being ready to face the dangers
from time to time. Otherwise, it is to remain alive in a crippled form, to be
closed to limitation. Man is for the society. So, people from us is to pray to
Allah and all are to accept collectively what is found out of the prayers.
Accessibility, simplicity and easiness are the symptoms of the real
civilization. Complications made of long procedure is barbarian. In fact, that
is the dump of waster made of sweating inabilities. No treaty is required if
peaceful, commercial and honest friendship relation exists between all the
nations. Nobody has come to the earth remain busy with himself only but all of
us for all and everybody of us is for others. The main symptom of a man is that
he is not alone. Everybody is related to many people and is made of many people.
Man cannot live alone. Instance of that is that he grows up with the help of
others, he is full-fledged when can mix up with all, this is the principle of a
man. Where this rule is followed, civilization grows there itself. The man who
is not social, is either an angel or a beast. He who is a good man, is a good
citizen as well. If you want to make a man cultured, then start from his
grandfather. The greatest necessity of today is understanding among all the
nations. As understanding between person to person is required, understanding
between nation to nation is more necessary. So long the world exists, this rule
will remain and it is called culture. If somebody wants to acquire a high sense
of decency and wishes to be a cultured man, he should mix with everybody and to
talk and behave simply everywhere. Man born as barbarian and it is culture
which make him civilized. Culture is the half way to heaven and a state without
culture is a hale. No culture can prevail if people don't try to be independent
and free. Culture introduces us with the best things of the world and with the
glorious history of mankind as well. Culture is the only matter on the basis of
which no particular assumption can be drawn, its excellence depends on the
social amity. It is culture which opens the door of the sense of decency. A
cheerful and intelligence face is the ultimate goal of culture. Culture means
to live nicely and with varity. Living within bindings in a civilized society
is better than living independently in an uncivilized society. Living a life in
a society with the friends within bindings is far better than living
independently in a jungle with the beasts. Relation between people grows on
friendship and between nations it grows on reciprocal interest. The difference
of the way of thinking differentiate a nation from another. The dream to make
the life like a flower, confidence on people, strong confidence on human values
are the viaticum's for a society to go forward. When this viaticum is lost, the
society becomes standstill and becomes filthy. People lose their own rays.
Firstly we are told to be a citizen. But a good conduct makes us a man. The
excellence of character of man is the substitute of his heritage and religion.
No culture can exist keeping it aloof from others cultures. The root of the
latest culture is moral emotion. A person's mental excellence is depends to a
great extent on the social excellence. The foundation of social culture is the
prevalent common religion of the society. To maintain a fine balance between
integrity and distinction should be the aim of a society. Because the basic
uniformity of conceptions, beliefs and emotions keeps a social united. The
collective progress of mankind enhances geometrically with the human activities
including improvement of communication, flourish of printing and publication,
improvement of schools, colleges and libraries etc. Through continuous sensual
interaction an entity become compound. Civilization is the collective result of
innumerous progressive acts of many people. Metropolitan life is like a reel of
a paper with unlimited length. It is the civilized behaviours which make a man
gentle. The world today wants that every citizen should be a soldier. And the
games and sports should make their mentality accordingly so that they grow up
with the suitable environment to reach the goal. Social life cannot run without
mutual compromise among its members. To run a joint family is possible only
when all its members feel themselves free and satisfied. When wants of everybody
is less and the wants can be met with a little effort, then it is natural that
some of them will try to live together and meet each other's wants and it is
not hard. If the people have limited wants and the same goal, can be easily
united and becomes strong for a unity of relations or community. But if there
is a great difference of wants and goals between each other, the unity among
them cannot remain strong. Our wants have increased and so many families have
been broken. The greatest principles of mankind are social principles and greed
is the great viler of that. In this age, passions create agitation in the
society and make the relation of its members loose and separated. Men gradually
have come up and are coming up from a stage of uncivilization. Although even at
present, if there are hungry, they start theft food. Although acquiring a
philosophy of your own, still you have to know popular customs to social
composition. Rites and customs are the ways of life of a community. A society
consists of two classes of people. Those who have more food then hunger and
those who have more hunger than food. Due to lack of mutual understanding
between the boarders of the upper and lower decks of a ship, the illiterate and fool boarders of
the lower deck will try to satisfy their thirst by making holes at the bottom
of the ship. If at this stage, they can't be prevented verbally or physically
and if the remedial actions can't be taken properly, all the boarders of the
ship will die. Personal progress of the social beings depend on the
co-operation of others to a great extent. Through good behaviour many
impossible can be made possible. The minority communities are a sacred custody
to the muslims. Capital cities are the greatest cities. In the village town the
wind of the ages flow very slowly. Men changes there very slowly. There status
of people also changes very slowly. Speedy changes occur in the lives of the
people living in the cities only. No man is limited to his personal life, at
the same time consciously or unconsciously, he is related to all his
contemporaries. Whatever a society recommends, is social. A high thought may be
unsocial at a particular place or in a particular time. In the flow of
progress, the community based society has been converted into reasonable,
secular and professional societies. The characteristics of this society are
sense of universal values, a particular role and the importance of status,
progressiveness, abundances of the sophisticated professional associations and
classifications of professional merits. A society becomes modernized with the
increase of its activities with more and more materials and instruments. A real
modernization comes in a society with the economic progress gained through
technological and organizational development and mental control. A society is
established when many people involve in mutual activities to reach a definite
goal. Distrust and dishonour crack a society. A society is not developed
automatically. An ideal society is formed with the combination of well-thought
decisions and great moral deeds. Taking necessary risks by the pioneers for
development of a society create hopes and confidence in the minds of common
people. Capital of a society is its collective capital, standard of
civilization is determined by the standard of living and assets of its members.
The root of the social system lies in work. The individual and mutual
activities of people is based on the
prevailing sense of value in the society. The activities of a social
system are to co-ordinate the system with the environment. New sense of values,
new ideology and new faith make new social systems.
